(Non)Wordless Wednesday

I really wanted today to be a Wordless Wednesday, but since I am currently at an Internet cafe and do not have my laptop or photos, sadly, some botched descriptions will have to do:

(Non)Wordless Wednesday: Bali

Picture some terraced rice paddies, bright green, against a bright blue sky filled with kites.

Picture a forest full of monkeys, trees with long tendons of vines, and temples that look like they're right out of Indiana Jones (Sacred Monkey Forest, Ubud).

Picture a bitchin' (and active!) volcano.

Picture me banging my head against the keyboard, 'cause this is the most pathetic blog entry ever. I'm just too tired to actually THINK and construct sentences.

Two cool things:

1.) We are having a ceremony at the school (bright and early!!!) tomorrow morning where monks come in and chant and do blessings. It's a beautiful thing to experience.

2.) Not only was my khratong this year biodegradable, it was TOTALLY made out of bread in the shape of a turtle!!!! The fishies could feast on it. I felt super cool with my awesome khratong, especially since I was most likely the only person over, say, the age of eleven who had one like it. He (yes, that's right, HE) was dyed red, and he had the number 65 written on his back in chocolate. He was so cute that I was tempted to keep him, but then I remembered that I had some serious wishin' to do. And that my condo has issues with insects.

I have a good feeling about this year's wish!!

I have a BAD feeling about this blog entry, so I'm gonna quit while I'm ahead.

I'll post the ACTUAL Bali pictures soon!!
