Alrighty.....this is terribly random, but, seeing as I am never one to pass up a fun game such as this, here is my fifth sentence on page 56 of the book that is closest to me:
"I could almost laugh at myself tonight, to think how low my spirits must be if I am wanting a letter from Amelia."

I thought I would try the page 56 game, but my closest book is my Torts casebook, so my entry may not be as fun. Anyway, here is the fifth sentence on page 56 of my closest book:
"While the manner in which language is used may no doubt determine its actionable character, appellant's assertion that the statement involved in this case was made to her with gross recklessness, etc., cannot take the place of allegations showing that the words were intended to have real meaning or serious effect."
Yikes, that's a long sentence.
